| I have a hard lump in the body of my king snake. It doesnt seem to harm it at all but i am still worried. There is literally no way i can see a vet. Does anyone have any ideas? One of my mates said that it isnt anything bad. I will try and put some pictures on soon. |

| Without seeing pics its virtually impossible to even begin to say what it is. Even with pics we will probably not really know. You could really do with having him looked at, if not by a vet then what about a local rep shop? |

| depending on the size and location it could be a superficial/subcutaneous abscess, and enlarged internal organ, an internal infection, parasites, a blockage................... |

| its my mates snake and they arent legal in my country. i will put pics up on monday does anyone have any other ideas. I thhought there would be an online vet or something |

| Due to his grasp of English i would guess at Australia, you need all sorts of licenses to keep none native species out there. |

if you want an online vet you could always try googling one?
but no vet would prescribe any medication for treatment without actually seeing the animal itself in the flesh, or even give a definitive diagnosis i suspect |

| That is the thing, Jono. If it is confiscated by the Australian authorities they will put it to sleep for being an illegal none native snake, they do not nurse them back to health and give them a nice new home. |
