Sadly Jose never made a re-appearence and so I have to assume he has well and truly escaped. Lesson learnt: nver use a glass aquarium with push off lids for snakes! It's locked glass fronted wood vivs or RUBs for mine from now on.

Regretably with the cold weather I would assume he has passed away.

i found that out when i had my first corn snake when i was 10.. but dont give up, my sister found mine a few months later and tried to get him warm but as she was so young she didnt really know what she was doing and ended up killing him.... but the moral of the story is that it might be ok...

We lost a similar age female corn one January a few years back, pushed the vent out (shop bought viv). Assumed the worse, turned up months later living under the dog's bed, drinking dog's water we think living on spiders. Don't give up yet!

We think Jally survived so long on spiders. She's see through so we knew she'd been eating something black whilst on walkabout
