my king snake wont eat her mouse, she hasn't had any food for 9 days now, im quite worried can anyone help please? |

She might be coming up for a shed... keep trying ever 3 days or so and she should eat again soon... |

As above, could be a shed coming or could just be the time of year. A lot of kings go off their food for a bit around this time. Just try again in a few days time |

I wouldnt worry my Mexi is not eating I think its the time of year to be honest, if it has a drastic weight loss then Id worry, other than that just do what the lads have said. |

she has shed her skin but is still not eating, i done what you all said i left her 4 days and tried her but she isnt interested in the mouse, i have also weighed her to make sure she isnt loosing weight. |

At the moment I would still say don't worry, just check the temps are fine and wait another 4-5 days and see what happens then. As said earlier it could just be the time of year |

she has just ate her mouse tonight but i had to feed her in her tank because she wouldnt take it when she was on the floor would it be ok to carry on feeding her in her tank?? |

Some people would advise against it as the snake can get to thinking that every time you open the tank it is feeding time. In my experience though this has not happened, doesn't mean it won't, but no problems so far |

Put the mouse on a piece of kitchen roll so that no substrate is ingested by the snake by mistake.
