hi to all im andras im new and i have a question, here goes, i have a chimoo mountain king, male 2 years old its just shed again last night its now 3ft2inches long and about as fat as the average for finger ,unless your a huge pizza eater and you have fingers like sausages, anyway my question, the shop i got my beautiful snake from said it could grow up to 7 ft is this true and how fat or wide will it grow, and how long do they tend to take to grow to there maximum .well a few questions really, i would be gratefull for your answers, thankyou. |

Mountain kings grow to an average of 4'. Although I have no experience with your paticular subspecies 7' sounds like an exaggeration to me as I don't know of any species of king that will reach 7'.

| hi and welcome to the forum,i dont know of a king that grows to 7' either,the biggest i seen was a 6' black milk snake. |

| i have just had a search of the net for you and there is not one thing about a chimoo,are you sure the names right and not just made up by the bloke you bought it from,a picture would help us to identify it. |

I would say that 4-5ft would be a more realistic estimate. Not many king species reach more than this.
I eat a lot of pizza, but only got little fingers  |
