lol, no worries scott.

bluerain - she's got some funky markings on her back. they're not just normal bands (even though she's got a vanishing pattern). there's like one or two bands/saddles (?) that are kind of joined together. makes her look pretty sweet i think.

i'm dying to be able to hold her properly. i think it's going to take a while of handling before she's not too nervous though hehe. any tips?

Looking Super Darren. Does he prefer the caves or does he burrow also?

Good idea to use the probe to give us a sense of size.

Scott will tell you this is true, but i bought an Orange Tang Hondi last year that i thought would never tame!! Never ever bit i have to admit, but squirmed and musked like mad!!

I just kept getting him out for changes, and short periods each day, he seemed to hate it at first, and i almost gave up as i was SO fed up of being musked!! Can you beleive after four months he was good as gold to handle? Never musks or thrashes about now. Just keep going with it and dont give up, short sessions is the key, one day out of the blue she will just start behaving for you!! good luck!

Lots of Milks!! Few Royals, corns, Rosie Boas and Childrens Pythons. One Bci, and one Irian Jaya Carpet!

yeah the snakes not THAT big really. probs around the size of strawbs (girlharry's snake).

i held the snake today when i got home and it actually wasn't as squirmy and wriggly as i thought it would be. it hasn't bitten me YET or musked. fingers crossed eh! :)

I thought you were supposed to leave them be for a week or so, bar feeding and water changes to let them settle in?

i've had her for just under a week. she's okay. i had to handle her anyway cause she wet the damn substrate and had to get it out from where she was. she's coolbeans.

i've not had any problems with her anyway.

I know you're supposed to leave new snakes for a week but if I'm honest I've not managed it yet.
Maybe with the next one I'll be more restrained
