just checked my king over today before going out and her vent is red and looks sore, theres no discharge or anything like that and she dont seem to be bothered by it, it just looks sore and red,
shes cleaned out reg and any poop is removed right away. if anyone can help please do  |

| took to vets and it turns out when she shed she tore a bit of her skin very near her vent as well but alls fine and with a few baths they said it,ll be fine |

Thats good news  It may be more comfortable for the snake to be put on paper until it heals. |

and (working in the industry) as well as paying the vet's wages, there's the receptionists who took your details and made the appointment, the nursing staff who could potentially be involved so are needed there, the building for the vet to see your animal in, and all the associated buildingsy-type bills and rates ................ etc etc you get the picture! |

Yes, any practise with a base has overheads, but some are cheaper, some more helpful, some more specialised - we all just have to find the one with the best balance for us. |

its fine to ask i dont mind lol it costs £85 in my area just to look at a animal no matter what it is and then if any treatment thats extra,
my cat racked up a £500+ vet bill in 1day so the cost aint really an issue its the fact of you think the amount you pay you would get everything lol and as i see it if vet bills are a problem for people then they shouldnt have pets as every pet is gonna rack up a bill at some point in there life if not at the end of it |
