I have a feeling that Trio was in the wars when he escaped.
The scratch i mentioned in a previous post although doesn't look or seem deep, it's still penetrated the forst ;ayer of scale completely.

Also, after giving him a couple medium mice he was very cautious when he approached them and if I wiggled them he'd back off pretty quickly.
If I kept them still though, when he did have a hold of them he constricted incredibly tight and it looked like he was gnawing on their bodies as well.

When I put him back into his tank he went to go to the warm area, and I had removed his hide (purposely), so he went off for a hunt for it and done something what I was expecting, he burrowed.

Now if anyone has ever used/had vermiculite they'll know about the metal sheen it seem to give everything, this was my plan.

Food+back into viv+no hides+he has to burrow = one slightly portly snake with metal dust on him.

It showed up his scratches, he now has loads!!
Apart from the one that has penetrated the top layer of his scales, he has a multitude of others that weren't there before.

Looks like his treatment of Herbavital and Aloe vera and olive oil are gonna carry on for a short while again, just in case.

I think kings can be wary of prey if they are really not interested. Nagini often seemed scared of rats, but I think it was because she really didn't want to eat it.

Tempo did same yesterday, got nervous and defensive because he didn't want his dinner.

Maybe the scratches have put him off food a bit and he's acting scared because he just doesn't want to eat at the moment.

I thought that he's just a bit wary because he moved from Wolfspirits, to me.
Then escaped and is now back.
It would explain why he's a bit iffy with his dinner, so hopefully he'll chill a bit more soon.
I thought he may be a bit funny with his food hence is why i only offered him medium mice, so it's nothing to big.

Aside from the eating, he's no different though.
