Mr Hankey has Shed today and it rubbish.
He's been a real nutter since he went blue, he did eat but has been mega tetchy and hissy and finally shed today. It was all in bits, some bits have rolled up 'condom stylee' and i think he pooed on lots of it too.
He however is now looking fantastic - super shiney and almost oil on water type colours on his black stripes no remaining skin on him.
He usually sheds in one so he's got me a little concerened. Should i be? or just wait to see what he's like next time? he sheds about every 6 weeks.
Any advice greatly appreciated. Ta Muchly. |

Just wait and see what he is like next time. Jasmin has just shed this week and she had a bad one. I had to remove the last third of her body and the top of her head and one of her eye caps. They just seem to have a bad one every now and again. As for it being rolled up condom style you should see my male boa. I don't know how he manages it but he can do a complete shed under his hide and it just ends up roleed up. It takes me ages to unroll it wothout it ripping. I guess some snakes just have a talent for these things |

Don't think so, well I've never heard of it in snakes anyway. |
