Just a quick question. My little florida king is about 6 months old now (already!) and she's growing quickly! I moved her on to fluffs about 3 months ago, and she seems happy enough with them, once a week, never missed a feed.
I went to feed her on friday past there, as usual, and I noticed she was in blue, so I left her well alone (she seems to shed quite often, last one was 10th of march). She's now looking back to normal but no shed as of yet, she's still in the grumpy lethargic phase, but she still hasn't been fed as I'm unsure whether to feed her now or after she sheds. Going by her previous track record, I think she'd take it happily enough, but should I wait?
I know they can last yonks without eating, and its only been a week and a half, but I'd hate to be withholding food on her unnecessarily. She's a hungry wee tube. |

I reckon Kage would eat in her sleep if she tried. You reckon it won't cause any complications when she does shed? |

My kings would eat when blue but I don't feed them. As soon as I see them blue they don't get fed again until they have shed. It probably doesn't make a difference but my thinking is it must be harder to shed a skin when they have a big fat belly. I do the same with my other snakes too. |

Quick update, she shed without a problem.
I also got to see her have a drink for the first time! |
