My MBK has`nt eaten for 3 months.

Im starting to get a bit concerned now. He has`nt been a problem feeder before, always stricking well. The last few months he has`nt been interested at all, iv tried all the usual tricks in the book ie braining, feeding in a rub ect ect.
He is very active and has been for about 2 months, but when i try and get him out he just slithers away. Nothing has changed viv wise, apart from getting cleaned out. The last time i tried a feed with him, he hid the bloody thing under the heat mat
Just tried a feed again today, as the others are getting fed. And all he`s doing is slithering around and over it and pushing it about.
He looks fine, not losing weight and nothing unusual about him.

Im a bit stuck as to what to try next tbh.

I'm guessing despite kings eptuation for being amazing eaters, that they really do go off food at a certain time of year. Mine hasn't been instrested in food for months really. Ozzy has been pushing his food about and slithering over his food to.

I sometimes can persuade him to eat by giving him a small mouse and leaving in the tub for like 2 hours and if he hasn't;t munched by then, one of the corns gets it or it gets refrozen. Other than that, I'm sure he will feed soon, it's happening to a a lot of kings atm from what I can tell.

A very special super, duper thanks for K :3

When my hoggie went a long time without food, I put off feeding him for two weeks. Then I soaked his mouse in tuna brine for a few seconds before offering him it. He had it straight away and is now taking each feed time. It is close to breeding season, so this could be his reason for being off his food.

Our kings was off his food for a while too, and has been pretty ill but he's bounced back.

Keep trying. Maybe something smaller that normal? He might not want a big meal as he hasn't eaten in a long time. We had to do this with ours and he took it straight away.

My corns off food too! Think he is actually a she and is female hunting lol.
