Hi everyone i was wondering if someone knows at what age a Honduran Tangerine milk snake is fully grown? i have heard everything from 18 months to 3 years. The reason i ask is my male Honduran milk is already 4ft long and he is not even a year old yet.
4ft at a year??? That's phenomenal growth rate. As it stands, they are technically never 'fully grown' as they are always growing, it just slows down a lot more as they get older. I've heard of Tange Hondos averaging the 5-6ft mark, so if you take a rough guess as to somewhere between 4 and 6 ft then you'll have a very large ballpark figure on the size.
I've heard of them reaching near 7ft... but 4ft at not even 1 sounds like it really grew! :o I want to see more pictures of this gorgeous fellow! I thought most kings and milks were kinda like corns and finished most of their growing at 3 and from then on slow growth.
With a taylors tape measure and the tank i have him in 2ft long by a 1ft.He now when he is fully stretched out the full length of the tank wich is 3ft and he is over half up the other side of the tank wich when measured 4ft.
