I wouldn't do it too regulary- just because damp conditions are a risk factor in the development of a R.I (respiratory infection), but if you snake seems to not mind them then the odd bath now and again doesn't hurt. In fact it might be appreciated during shedding.
None of my snakes seem to like water. I tend to bath them only if they have been laying in their own waste (quite common with one of my boas) or if they have had a bad shed and they have some retained shed (very rare but it does happen). Having said that I don't think it would cause a problem if you did it regularly as long as they are thoroughly dried afterwards

I have found that bathing my variable king once a day just before he's going to shed results in a full head to tail one piece shed :-) ! - Otherwise its usually in 4-5 pieces.
