I flipped these two scarlet kingsnakes (L.triangulum elapsoides)
an adult
and a small juvenile

Saw something on those on ITV Countrywise, warden was showing man around, explaining adders on decline but no real threat. Showed an adult and juvenile out enjoying sun. Don't fancy one myself, may have seen one decades ago on south coast, not sure as local lad and me went one way top speed and snake went other flat out. We were butterfly hunting and looked under a sheet of corrugated iron in a field of stubble. |

We get blooming tons of slow worms down ere lee, i have to rake over the grass before i cut it so i don't end up mowing them. Must be something to do with you being at the top of the hill or something. |
