What size is your viv?
and where did you get your log from?
I'm looking for a log which wedges itself quite comfortably in the viv, i always worry the smaller log i have in my king's viv is going to wobble and hurt her if she goes exploring...

stunning snake :)

hi,

the viv has 3 hides one under each foliage and the cork one in the middle. it has 2 vents on the back, bottom left and top right.

thanks

It looks great. Two questions: does she have hides in there, under the folliage? How is the viv ventilated?

Btw, she's a beautiful snake.

if there too close they will heat up,i think the powder coated ones are more heat resistant than bare or painted ones

Personally I use ceramics in all of my vivs. Think it just comes down to your own preference
lee2308 Posted - 14/12/2009 : 00:46:29
i personly would rather use a mat for kings as belly heat is better for them.

hi,

thanks for the advice, im still not sure about the ceramic yet. i have ordered a 11x11 heat mat of ebay which should be here this week so will probably be swapping ceramic for mat again.

thanks
