hi,
finally got pics of the new viv. aslo got a pic of sausage she,s a lovely snake and has a great personality. not very good pics but you get the idea. any comments on the viv setup are most welcome good or bad please.

looks great,just make sure your ceramic gaurd doesnt get too hot as its very close to the ceramic. |

hi,
thanks for the advice, im still not sure about the ceramic yet. i have ordered a 11x11 heat mat of ebay which should be here this week so will probably be swapping ceramic for mat again.

i personly would rather use a mat for kings as belly heat is better for them. |

Personally I use ceramics in all of my vivs. Think it just comes down to your own preference |

if there too close they will heat up,i think the powder coated ones are more heat resistant than bare or painted ones |

It looks great. Two questions: does she have hides in there, under the folliage? How is the viv ventilated?
Btw, she's a beautiful snake.

hi,
the viv has 3 hides one under each foliage and the cork one in the middle. it has 2 vents on the back, bottom left and top right.

What size is your viv? and where did you get your log from? I'm looking for a log which wedges itself quite comfortably in the viv, i always worry the smaller log i have in my king's viv is going to wobble and hurt her if she goes exploring...

my viv is 24x15x15 and the log is java wood from local reptile shop. thanks for the comments.
