On a more serious note atm mine is just on the top of the substrate in his warm hide, I was wondering if any1 had any better suggestions, i.e. should i tape it underneath the substrate? or is it ok as it is?

Some people just tape it to the bottom of the heat pad, just make sure the heat pad is the same temp on both sides. Inside the tank, you may also want to consider hot glue as tape can get stuck to a snake when they burrow, possibly causing problems. |
