At the moment mine is..
just lying there... on the floor there...
sorry had to quote from Burn After Reading,
On a more serious note atm mine is just on the top of the substrate in his warm hide, I was wondering if any1 had any better suggestions, i.e. should i tape it underneath the substrate? or is it ok as it is?

Tape it directly to the mat on the outside of the faun. This way the snake cant move it. |

Just pull the mat out a bit on one side and tape it on the black area. |

From what I've read, the Temp prob goes inside to measure the hottest part your snake could come in contact with, the thermo prob goes between the heater and the tank. Some people just tape it to the bottom of the heat pad, just make sure the heat pad is the same temp on both sides. Inside the tank, you may also want to consider hot glue as tape can get stuck to a snake when they burrow, possibly causing problems. |
