Funny, was just talking about that today. I started with a Corn to get me past a childhood fear of snakes, advice at the time was all beginner=corns, but I only have one corn now, a taiwanese beauty and 3 kings, none of which are in any way snappy. |

maybe somebody somewhere got feet and metres confused? although a 3m mexi does sound excessive (and scary!)
LOL that is a scary snake. I think they are starter snakes to be honest well thats what I've read on the net |

Posted - 12/01/2009 : 04:44:51 Yes, I think they grow bigger than what people say the average is.
Nagini is 5 ft now and maybe still growing.
Plus, just in case, you said you were reading about Mexican king snakes, but Mexican Blacks are actually in the Common King snake family for some reason. Confusing I know. It took me ages to get a grasp of the king snake families. |

Posted - 11/01/2009 : 21:12:48 Kaz was pondering this when she was writing the care sheet as her mexi black is around 5' Don't know what the average is but they can certainly reach a good size |
