Posted - 18/10/2010 : 21:53:15 I recently got an albino kingsnake from a pet shop. he seemed really active at first but now he continuisly hides under his shavings. when i get him out he is fine to handle and not snappy at all. he is feeding regularily and everything seems to be fine. is it normal for him to be under the shavings most of the time

Posted - 19/10/2010 : 20:56:14 I also prefer heat lamps, mainly because for some odd reason my milk doesnt like the mat. when i turn it on she goes all the way to the other side of the viv and wont go back over until i turn the mat off. |

However its important that whatever heat source you use that its controlled by a thermostat, and if using a bulb that there's a guard around it |
