Posted - 23/05/2010 : 17:11:36 Hi, I am just about to collect a 5 month old Florida King Snake. This is my 1st snake. Initially it is coming in a small plastic tank (probably 18 inches long by 9 inches wide). At what point do I move it to its new viv? and does it matter whether I get the 3 or 4 foot viv by 24 or 18 inches? I note your comments earlier re these snakes being ok with alot of space.
Also, will this snake be ok with my kids who are 9 and 5, if I get the snake out each time?
Finally how long will I need to leave the snake before handling after purchasing it? |

I'd recommend that you read the care sheets on this site. Some very good info there. |
