Posted - 22/01/2010 : 10:06:28 Right, so after reading a post of TRP i'm worried about my choice of heating.
I've posted my question regarding my python on that site.. but i'd like to know about the safest way to heat Strawbs' viv. She's on a heatmat, which [obviously] is controlled 24/7.. but is it better to upgrade to a bulb with a large cover? She's a year and 3 months old and has a 11x11 heat mat under unprinted paper inside her viv. I understand that heavier snakes can cause problems with their size/weight, but is it the same with a smaller snake as they get older??
Cheers guys! |
