Evening all, some of you may know me from the corn snake forum.
I bought myself what i believe to be a striped cali king today (my knowledge of king variations is not all that impressive to be honest) so i thought i would sign up here and say hi.
The snake is currently settling in so a huge photo shoot was obviously not on the cards, but i did get one or two pictures.
Here is the snake in question, as yet unnamed and i am also not sure of the gender. I don't think i paid too much for it so i am pretty happy.
It is a beautiful chocolate brown with yellow striping and a white belly and speckling to the lower sides.

Thanks, Lee.
To be perfectly honest i could not tell you an age with any degree of confidence, i am guessing 6 months to a year though. It is currently about the thickness of my thumb and eating good sized fuzzies... if that helps. |

Thanks, Kaz.
I love this little thing, it has the narrowest stripe i have seen in a king snake. According to a friend of mine it looks like its spine is just poking through the skin. haha
Once it is settled in fully i will try to get some more pictures, hopefully lit better than my original rushed picture and showing the lovely brown colour. |
