hi, I have a 2 month old cali king.
currently i am feeding him 2 pinky mice every 6 days but after the last feed he was still looking around or more food?
the pinky's look like the right size food for him but should i give him 3 or stay at 2?
i dnt wanna over feed or under feed
prob a stupid question but first snake so help is apprecited

hi and welcome to the forum,i would let him have a few feeds of 2 pinkys then move up to fuzzys if theres not much of a lump after 2 |

I would say you're feeding your king about the right amount. Some kings will look around for more food and eat it if it is offered whether they actually need it or not. For the age of your snake 2 pinkies is fine |

i'd say you were feeding about right....... but as a guide to food item size, the item should be no wider than 1.5 times the width of the snake at it's widest/thickest point |
