I like how one is trying the fight and the other is running away from the fingers. Twins eh? |

I remember seeing that! its a great snake. What do you lot think about letting snakes with serious defects breed? I assume its not genetic so im all for it (unless proven otherwise) |

It might not have been genetic, could just be a birth defect.
I wouldn't like to think that they were purposely bred like that, but you never know. |

I've seen a video of it with a mouse. One head looks interested at first, then the other one looks more interested. Wonder what would happen if they started trying to eat the mouse at the same time. Would it be able to eat itself?! |

I have seen pictures where a snake has started to eat its own tail so it probably is possible that one head could at least begin to swallow the other head |

I think it would be possible for it to try and eat its own head(if that makes sense) but as they are two heads on one body, i think they will have learnt to tolerate their own company by now so they wouldn't eat each other to be cannabalistic but if they both started eating the pinking they might get a little confused in the middle and one snake might just carry on eating. |

Ha ha ha, how would you split them up at feeding time???
I've seen video of a 2 headed beardie on you tube somewhere - really funny.
And no Matty, it's not genetic just a birth defect - my eldest was born with three kidneys but the extra one was plumbed in wrong and made her really poorly so she had it whippped out when she was 6 months old. |

Looking at that video again its clear that even if one head did start to eat the other it would not be able to get past the point where the two heads join. |

One other thing about potentially one trying to eat the other;
I'd assume they share lungs, so the one that would get swallowed would still be alive?? Although the head itself couldn't breathe, would it suffocate??? |
