Ok i am thinking about getting a king snake! When i get some money lol!
In my local rep shop they have a king snake that is black on top and white on the bottom! What morph is this? |

Probably a California king of some sort. Calis are great
Have a look on the common king snake care sheet on the main page for more info. Dead easy to look after |

i you have corns then a king is the next step for you,they the same to keep as corns but a lot more active day and night. WARNING DONT BE DRAWN INTO BUYING A ROYAL |

kings are definatly better...sorry matty but i can see why people enjoy royals. i just like the colours you can get |

I think the best thing about Royals is that you can trust them 100%. If a child or one of my mates who was a bit scared of snakes came to my house I would'nt think twice about letting them hold Evra. She moves slow and is never aggressive.
Same can't be said for Kings (well Tempo's alright) but with Hypanthia and Nagini I usually have to check their moods before even I pick them up, nevermind anyone else who isn't confident. |

I agree with everybody regarding the Cali Kingsnake Identification and regarding Royal Python. Royal Python are very dull in my eyes, Not very active, Don't do much when handling, Can be fiddly feeders.
Do the Shops have any Milksnakes? Very are in the same Genus. Or if you want to stick to Kingsnakes, What about Mountain Kingsnakes. Im biest, I just love the Tri-Colors. This link may help you decide.

im loving the milks at the mo... they are beautiful! although The Baron is also stunning, kings and milks are the most interesting reptiles ive owned so far! |

Nigrita's are one of my favourite Getula subspecies for sure! Theres something about a Jet black snake isn't there.
