If you leave them unsupervised while their together things could get dangerous, you have to be prepared to sit their all the time their together,i read the other dayof some one who put his together at 10pm and they stayed locked together for 5 hours

I think if they are both well fed then you should not have any problems
But if one of them is hungry then you may be one king down by the end

1.1.0 Arizona mountain king (Sylar and Claire)
0.1.0 Blotched king ( Jasmin)
1.1.0 Guyana red-tail boa (Hercules and Athena)
1.0.1 children (Alfie and BUMP)

I think that's about it really- feed them both up and watch them.

The only other risk is normal snake breeding risks like the female becoming egg bound etc.

yes- and make sure they are both the same size too. It's easier for a little snake to be eaten by a big snake, but they wouldn't manage one the same size as itself.

yes smart-bum Matty - they die because they've eaten too much- like you at an all you can eat Pizza Hut buffet

but seriously- hatchlings haven't learnt to hunt yet so they go for anything that moves. That's why hatchlings get eaten a lot.

I don't think it's that dangerous - I think at the breeding season food isn't the most important thing on their minds. Have you ever seen a horny snake?

As already mentioned, as long as your snakes are of similar size, have been brumated and well fed, you should have no losses when breeding! You must always supervise the initial introduction though!

Lots of Milks!! Few Royals, corns, Rosie Boas and Childrens Pythons. One Bci, and one Irian Jaya Carpet!
