| i was wondering if there's a way of finding out a snake's sex by markings/vent shape/size etc? i want to get my girl [i hope it's a girl anyway] sexed but i've not got the time at the moment. she's almost a year old. |

You can have a guess through tail length, but it us just a guess so you'll need to get her probed before making breeding plans etc, but a male king is more likely to have a broader, longer tail than a female would.
You might also have a problem because this is hard to see if you have nothing to compare it to, like another snake at the same size and with her only being 1 year old anyway any sex difference might not be apparent yet either  |

ahh lovely, well here're 4! the quality isn't that great because they were taken on a mobile phone camera. was going to use my badboy camera but the batteries died

yeah but i'm so busy right now i don't have time to take her to get probed. i will soon, i was just wondering if anyone could hazard a guess from her pics for now |
