| Went to get chalkie out and she was very grumpy and tail rattling and when i check under her hide there was 1 egg,so rang the shop i ot her from to see if she had beed in with any other and he said no but she could have retained sperm or it could just be a dud.i have set up a diy incubator.Will there definatly be more eggs or can they just lay the one.I noticed a small bump last night but cant see another bump,have put a damp hide in and shes in it. |

heres the incubator i knocked up,got a poly box with a lid but should i put a lid on the tub with the moss in,the egg looks so lonley  hope it's not just the one egg after the money i spent today,i suppose it will get used eventuly

If you can hold her and gently run your thumb down her belly you should be able to tell if there are any more eggs |

| she's got a right mood on so might leave that,did notice a small bump by her ver vent last night and thought the worst,no harm in trying though,what temp should the incubater be? and should i put a lid on the small tub? |

TBH it isn't the best egg i've seen, like matty said the yellow patch makes me think it's a slug  sorry hun |

They can lay one or they can lay more. It all depends on the snake really.
Now you've spent the money I would incubate it anyway. You never know. Some of our look worse than that one  |

| I was so excited and surprised to see it,going to need a incubator one day anyway.Shes in the moss hide now and i think i could see another little bump earlier but that egg was so slim so it is hard to tell,lets wait and see.Got the incubator at 82 is that ok? |

They can break down the eggs and reabsorb them, but I have never actualy heard of anyones snake doing that, so I would expect the rest of the clutch. |
