Thought I'd pop by and say Hi and introduce Cleo... Meet Cleo, she's a 50/50 phase Calli king with some Desert king in there too.. Beautifully white (slightly cream underneath) with black stripes.. I spent ages looking for the right snake and think I found it here.. Didn't want a black snake with white stripes if you see what I mean.. She's just a babe and got a lovely temperament. I've had her for about three weeks now and she gobbles down pinkies every week. I've chopped a coconut in half and made it into two hides for her which look really good and natural. Super cheap too..
She went off her food this week and slept for about three days solid and had blue / white eyes so I figured she was about to shed but then she perked up again eyes returned to black and was back out of her hides... no sign of skin though.. Is this normal? Can they have phantom shedding??? Maybe she did shed and the skin is buried in the cage somewhere where I couldn't find it. I didn't look that hard...
Hopefully the pics will work. hope you like them. Cheers Charlie.

| Cheers Lee just thought it was interesting... I'll not feed her then until a day or two after the shed. Anyone know how often a snake of this size is likely to shed? C. |

| It's hard to say how often they will shed as it depends on how fast they grow and all snakes grow at their own rate, but if i had to say i would say about every 4-6 weeks for a young snake, but thats only a guide. |
