I have slowly "upgraded" Teyha's food from one rat pup, to two, and now rat fluffs, going completely by her size and what kind of bulge her food creates.
I have been feeding her on a weekly basis.
She is CB10, about 2.75-3ft long and still rather slender.
Teyha eats on a Wednesday night, but she seems to be searching for food 48-72 hours after.
How often should I be feeding her? Obviously I do not wish to "powerfeed", but should I feed again whilst she is looking around for food 48-72 hours later, or should I stick with the weekly feed schedule? |

At that age I'd feed every 7 days. If you want to feed more often you can feed once your snake has pooped out it's last meal so like Gmac says about 5 days. Kings are totally different to corns for example and don't spend long digesting, the trick is not to fall for the "I'm Hungry" routine. |
