I feel sure that my 4 year old king snake is not really growing as she should. Although quite long about 2 1/2 ft, she is very small width wise. size of my middle finger and i do not have large hands. Is this normal at all. She has a tendency to regurgitate, not always but occasionaly. Her vivarium is quite large but always warm enough according to the stat. Any ideas as to what may be causing this please ? |

Hi Caroline, welcome to the forum.
Can you give us some more details of your set up. Do you measure the temps with a thermometer? If so what type, dial or digital and what temp on the warm end? What heat source, mat or ceramic? Mounted on inside or outside the viv? What weight is she and what size of mice are you offering? What type and size is the viv? Standard Vivexotic, glass or Monkfield type with external heat slot/tray?
A couple of photos would also help. |

Answers to questions above will help us give you a better answer but she does sound quite small for what is essentially an adult snake. |

as above, at that age I would expect it to be much bigger than that, specifically the width how long have you had the snake? |
