Ah thats a downer, I can understand that you would be frightened if you never had experience of handling them, but to beat it to death with a stick is a bit much to say the least, had the guy not heard of
the RSPCA?

Bet he wouldnt like if someone who didnt reconise him beat him with a big ol stick,if he was brave enough to go back in,i would of thought he would of bee brave enough to contain it.

I know is sounds evil but if that was an eight legged freak i would have done the same - sometime you just dont want something you dont trust doing a houdini in your house!

i dont generaly agree with killing animals if it can possibly be avoided, spiders go outside and mice (the one time my rental house had them) were caught in humane traps and released into a park... cockroaches on the other hand had to be dealt with severely...
