Hi what does snake musk look like?
My snake was only a mission last night..lol...and dumped loads of white stuff all over his log, it was kind of like toothpaste, is this urates? or what?

it's a defense reaction, relatively effective, well tbh it would put me off handling a snake that did it! |

do you think i did something to scare him?
also what temps are you keeping Queretaros at? |

| Mine was musking whenever i picked it up,but has stopped now.It was like a yellow/white liquid not a paste,do all snakes have urate balls like royals,my corn just does a all in one and have not seen one from the mexi yet only poo. |

Musking is gross when its done on yourself, Snoops was like a paste,
not nice and the smell was unpleasent lol |

Sylar's tends to be a white liquid but he hasn't done it for ages.
As for urate balls. Sylar just does his all in one so it seems to be different from python/boa |

WS- it could be that he was scared, but sounds more like that he was trying to make his viv into a home. His he new to it?
Nagini used to do it all over in a new viv, but calmed down eventually. They just like their houses to smell like them |
