Hello, i have spent the last few days researching king snake, looking them up saving pictures of them and some of there morphs which has left me with ALOT of picture of fabulour snakes BUT i was wondering, other then the snakes listed on this site which others are available in the UK???
Also which would u reccommend???

The link below is the list i have made my way through :) many of them look very similar which i guess it to be expected.
Next year i plan on begining my collection of kings, i already have a black king but plan on having atleast 10 more :)

Hi it just depends what you like the look of but the usual ones are MBKs, calis, greybands, goins, deserts etc. Literally any kings you want are available if you're willing to pay for them. These could range from £10 - £500+
When you say you want at least 10 more make sure you have the time to devote to them and the finances to look after them as I have 8 snakes just now and they take some time to look after. As kingsnakes are cannibalistic you're also looking at one setup per snake (viv, stat, heatmat etc) so it won't work out cheap to keep all of these. It's all too common for someone to get loads of snakes then end up struggling. Something to think about

1.0 Milksnake
3.3 Kingsnakes
1.1 Royal Python
1.2 Cornsnakes

Luckily i have lots of time to plan; im a patient person but im also very determined Lol, i wont be starting this lil project for another year or more till i have a full time job and my own place :)
I plan on building my own rack, having them in 50ltr rubs with mats and stats, the rack will have room for 6 rub BUT i will only be buying one or 2 snake at a time to see how i get on :):)
Currently i live at home and have 2 snakes and one dragon which i can easily afford even with no job, i would be able to have a couple more now but no space here :(:(

I want to make sure i know everything in detail and be sure im ready b4 buying as i do with anything.

If u could give me some links where i may be able to enquire about buying kings, UK supplyers or breeders?

Any help and advice is always appreciated ! thanks.

You must get too much pocket money

You'll need bigger than 50 litre RUBS for adult kingsnakes. I have mine in 70 litre which are a much better size.

I also wouldn't bother contacting any breeders until you're in place to buy snakes from them. If you say you're over a year away from wanting any snakes I don't think you'd get much response from them as alot can happen in that time. I have found that most breeders I have spoken to their main response is "how do you want to pay".

Sounds like you've done your homework though.

You should checkout our facebook page too
