Apologies if I'm thread-jacking, I was about to post a similar question, but regarding the cool end!
I have my warm end at ~31C during the day, and the cool end is usually around 23C, although in this recent spate of heat we're having in Belfast, the cool end has risen to around 27C, even if I leave the front of the viv wide open (supervised!!!).
Is this anything to be worried about? I'd imagine its a common occurrence in her native florida, but here we're all melting. |

No problem Poley. All my snakes cold ends are sitting at 26-27 today due to the heat instead of the usual 23. I just make sure they have a big bowl of clean water. |

No problems. Its dropped a wee touch now. She's just munched a small adult mouse (which was eventful!) yesterday, so I suppose it'll do no harm to have the temps a little on the warm side anyway.
This site is fantastic for peace of mind, thanks again. |
