Hello TheKingSnake.co.uk
Here's something fun for everybody to do.
If you Have a Lampropeltis, you are welcome to enter a photo competition to decide who owns the nicest looking Lampropeltis on the forum.
The aim is mainly to show the amazing diversity within the genus, showing some of the fantastic and strange King and Milksnakes which we keep.

You can enter one photograph of each of your King or Milksnakes.

You can enter photos from April 10, 2012 until April 24, 2012

Voting will begin on April 25, 2012 and a winner will be announced on May 2nd, 2012

So go on, get taking photos everybody :D

GMac Note - I have agreed we can run this compo

oh, go on then.

Gulf, a 2011 Lampropeltis getula getula- eastern chain kingsnake.
i'm not 100% sure if he is "pure" L. g getula because of the band colours, but only time will tell.

And Escobar, my Hypermelanistic California King.
They are known as Lampropeltis getula nitida, as they were once thought be be a separate subspecies

i very nearly ditto-ed that, he's so handsome. Then going back over the other pics, looking for the 'handsomest snake' makes choosing an impossible task...

SO

my vote goes to the gore-fest that is Madame Mim having her dinner-

could any picture convey the MBK character so well???
