Hi, i have a corn snake and im soon getting a mbk and was thinking about using the same mat stat but the kingsnake requires a higher hot end temp. but its only 1-2 degree difference so would it be ok to just have the same temps as the corn or should i buy a new stat just for the king ? |

wouldnt recommend it for different species that dont have the same requirements. Corns max is 30, MBK is 33 is 3 difference enough to warrant its own setup. For instance for an RI you would raise the temps a few degrees what if its the MBK that has an RI and requires that raise you would be lifting the temps to 34 ish which is too hot for corns. |

I'd definitely recommend an extra mat and stat for the MBK. When we bought Vader the shop owner suggested using a larger strip mat with 1 stat for our corn and Vader. After his first feed he regurged a somewhat hardly digested pinky as a result of the temps being slightly low |
