Hi guys, can anyone shed some light on this for me please.
I was going to get Snoop out yesterday before his feed,
he was acting really grumpy, shaking his tail and really wanting to get away, so I decided to leave him alone and not stress him out to much. Is this the right thing to do, or should I have gone back and tried again after a little while to show him who's boss so to speak.
Also is it possible that he was just having an off day, hes not normally like that, he ate fine last night also so I know hes healthy and everything.

for corns i'd say give them 10 mins to chill before going to pick them up again, for royals i'd say ignore them and pick them up anyway, but, hmmm, unknown territory for me..........................

had you woken him up or startled him?

No I always stroke him gently before picking him up, he was just really grumpy and aggressive, maybe he was just in a mood, I'm sure even snakes get into bad moods some times

kings can be moody, that's why we like them

Just wait a bit and try again. I'm sure he'll be fine next time.

Yeah I'm putting it down to him having an off day, also I think he was hungry, he's been fine after I fed him and went back a couple of days later and handled him then, so I'm not gonna worry about it
