Ok, just fed kage in her separate tub, and two questions arose in the process.
Firstly, how do you folks get your snake back into the viv? I know that if I so much as move near her straight after she's eaten, she gets very distressed and panicky. I'd rather not do that if I can!
Secondly, do snakes yawn!? About 5 mins after she ate, she opened her ridiculously large maw in what looked unmistakeably like a yawn lol. |

I lift mine back in, or you could gently tip the tub and hope snake will decide to climb back itself.
and yes snakes yawn just helps them after a meal. |

I'm a tipper; all 7 of mine are just tipped up so their feeding tank is on its side poked inside the glass of the vivs, and left to clamber out by themselves. There are only two I may lift out, as I know I wouldn't be tagged if I gently grip them and lift them out of the box. I wouldn't do it with the MBK I have though, her hissing and biting herself has put me off touching her after she's eaten XD |

My MBK and Cali get tipped back in as they go into a bit of a feeding frenzy and would rip your arm off at feeding time given the chance lol |
