ime quite worryed now my king is not taking food? shes always a eagre feeder no problem since ive had her till now,she is still happy moving around as normal drinking as normal..looks as healthy as always ..any ideas please could she be getting ready to lay some eggs..my  corn did a bit back n went off food jst not for long. |

My milksnake is on week 5 of fasting. Im gonna with hold food for a cople of weeks then hopefully he will be hungry and take it.
Have you had your king in with a male?

no dont have a male as of yet previos owner said she does lay eggs from time to time as does my carolina corn two weeks ago 8 eggs ...ime hoping its just her getting ready to lay some eggs or some thing ...tryed all the things folk say from warming to tunafish sent all with no joy..its nearly 8 weeks now ...the pic is her in the feeding rub..ive even tryed feeding in her viv and overnite leaving of food all no good..fingers crossed she will eat soon...
i rang a vet went through all the ideas and how she still lively ect he said 4mnth is common dont worry less she gets lathargic or stops moving about |

My MBK`s on an 8 week fast at the mo,and he wont keep still. Not lost any weight,visually anyway. The last time i tried feeding, i left it in overnight. It was gone in the morning....or so i thought.
He hid the rodent under some aspen, on his heat mat  , my god the smell was awfull.
Next time he will be going in a RUB for a feed. |

| I've had my King a week now, the previous owner says he is off his food for Winter. I tried on Tuesday to no avail, and tried again today but no taking. I don't think I'll try him with food until mid January. I guess it's that time of season for them. |

| My MBK king is fasting. I can sometimes get him to eat by giving him smaller than he should have mice though. |
