Fed my new baby MBK last Wednesday and she's still not pooped yet, checked her over briefly last night and she didn't look all backed up poo wise, she's my first kingsnake, is it normal for them to hold onto their poo when settling in? Could she still be digesting the fluff I fed her?

When I got her on the 29th Sept she poo'd 4 times after that.

I have lots of animals & if you ask me I'll tell you what they are.

Cant speak for Kingsnakes but as i havent bought mine yet (next week), however i know my corn when he eats holds onto his poo when he is in shed, then leaves a few for me to clean up once he has shed but I'm not to sure about Kings

Kind regards

Daryl

Do you think so? It was last Wed I fed her a small fluff, was worried she wouldn't take it but she did.

My king's three years old in Feb and he can take anything from a day or so after a feed to poop, to over a week. I think it just depends on how active he's been too.

He hadn't pooped in about a week and I was checking him over. He then pooped all down my arm ... then bit me. (He was a total sod for biting up until a few months ago).

I wouldn't worry too much, as long as he don't seem in any discomfort. My hognose used to have a nice swim and then do a huuuuge pooop.

Thanks for that, she's only a 4 month old baby and I checked her briefly last night and she doesn't look backed up with poo and she was so calm to handle too.

No prob :)

She'll poo soon, probably at the most inconvenient time ..... my corn pooed on my bed sheets the other day. She'd done a couple in her viv so I thought she'd be all pooed out ... oh no, got her out and there she went. And she's nearing 4 and a half foot long ... it wasn't a small . lol.
