I have had my crested gecko for just over a week now and have recently tried giving him some crickets.
He seems healthy and is readily eating his crested gecko diet and was even brave enough to lick some of my finger, so i am not too worried, but he doesn't seem to show any interest in crickets when i give him some.
I do not know what he was fed in the shop where i got him so it is possible he has not been fed crickets before. Is it possible he doesn't see them as food? I would have thought it would be instinct to hunt insects?

Thanks

Only one of mine will eat crickets, but she's an absolute nutter lol
As long as he is eating something i wouldnt worry too much.
Try locusts, waxworms and roaches too if you can!

Thanks for the reply :)
He is definately eating something because he has been here for a couple of weeks and i have found poo in his tank so im not too concerned. I have ordered some waxworms and will give them a try when they get here but my dad said no to roaches in the house because he is paranoid about them escaping and infesting the house lol
