Ok. So...when handling Mim, she seems to musk me. It has happened a couple of times. I have never put her back into her RUB once she has musked, I carry on with the handling to ensure she doesnt think everytime I pick her up I will put her back if she musks me.
When handling, I let her come to me once my hand is in her RUB. I then lift her out.
Today when I lifted her out she musked again. When I saw her undebelly, buy the rear end I noticed something protuding from the slit. It was pink, and slowly shrank down inside then went back inside.
As this is my 1st king, and my corn Romeo has never musked me, I was a bit worried by what I saw. 
I was asked by another member if I was sure Mim was a she. I advised she was probed before she was delivered to me and I was told she was a she. We both looked further into it and the other member read something along these lines: "You say the prolapse only occurs when she is handled which makes me question the fact that it is a real prolapse. The fact that she puts everything back when put down says it is not, but in fact a stress reaction to being handled which is quite common with a very frightened king snake"
Just wanted your opinion on the matter as like I said, I am new to kings. Thank you  |

| It is nothing to worry about this is perfectly normal and is not a prolapse. Both our kings will do this when they musk, it also scents everything they touch with it. |
