I know this is probably a stupid question but I cannot tell if Ozzy is in shed or not? His eye's aren't blue but he has crinkly skin on his nose and in some places along his body. I know that with corns crinkly skin on the body is a sign but the face seems like a weird area? His belly is a like a grey blue colour too, but I have no idea is this is a sign of shedding as I have nothing to compare too. He's been like this since I got him (Sunday)His head also seems a it more shiny compared to the rest off his body which is quite matt in comparison.
hey, my corn goes a light colour for about a week and hes scales look kinda like white netting then he goes hes orangey colour then hes eyes go blue then when they clear 2-3 days later hes shed im not a snake expert thats just how mine goes did you get him from a shop as they usually give you a record of when they have ate and shed in the past if there just patches of skin that dont look like they should be there then maybe its been a bad shed before and this has left patches of skin stuck on ive got a problem with my king at the minute in places hes shed too much skin then he should you can always try letting him soak in some warm water and see if this helps him =)
My corns do the same. No he's not from a shop so I don't know much about him at all. I'll try and get some pictures. He doesn't have any patches of left over sheds but I have a feeling he might rub himself too much while trying to shed as around his mouth the scales look damaged and the top of his head, he kinda looks like he slithered into a wall too fast if that makes any sense lol
He may well have some stuck shed, try giving him a damp hide or hold him with a damp towel to see if that gives any results. To give an example of mbk in shed, they're the easiest to tell with IMO. The eyes always show it really well.
