Good temperment as well, got bored with Corns, got a taiwanese beauty snake baby, then saw this, thought kings were snappy but this one isn't and I'm told the body language will tell you when they're in feed mode.
Have handled Cali kings and a desert king adult, not sure where they get the reputation from.

Great name!

In my experience kings have a really good temprement and have a bit of an unfair reputation as being snappy.

1.1.0 Arizona mountain king (Sylar and Claire)
0.1.0 Blotched king ( Jasmin)
1.1.0 Guyana red-tail boa (Hercules and Athena)
1.0.1 children (Alfie and BUMP)

Really nice snake, unusual too.

Kings are a little more snappy than corns, but in general terms of snakes they aren't that bad. Just imagine comparing them to a tree boa... big softies really
