Hi, i have a 10 month old Cali King snake. Would it Be ok to put him on sand ? |

from all the reading it seems ok just dont feed him in the sand. |

I can't comment on sand as a substrate, but I have all mine on aspen and they seem to love it. It's great if they love to burrow. |

i wouldnt recommend it..it can get under scales and cause impactions and if swallowed it could cause some major health issues.. aspen or hemp is good, or paper shreddings |

just avoid it, there's plenty of non-harmful and better looking alternatives out there........sand is for hoggies and sand boas! |
