Posted - 02/04/2010 : 16:01:37 potentially she'll lay then be too knackered to do anything, she'll just want to rest. i'd check her every 24-48hrs depending on the laying box ie. if it's warm and damp (good conditions for incubation) i'd be more inclined to check every 48hrs, if i thought the temps were unsuitable or unstable or that the laying box might dry out then i'd check more frequently |

Posted - 02/04/2010 : 15:02:55 can feel individual eggs now rather than half her body being solid, think today could be the day.Have not seen her all morning and is in the nest box rather than roaming all over |

Posted - 01/04/2010 : 17:21:22 Doesn't sound good Lee. Has she lost weight? And can you physicly see her bulge decreased? It's quite uncommon to see this, but could well be a 'miscarriage'.

Posted - 01/04/2010 : 16:19:44 I would have thought you get eggs which dont develop |

Posted - 31/03/2010 : 19:59:50 i've seen something similar when a snake has had an upset tummy which resolved itself with a little time, not sure what else it could be as i don't think egg-layers can miscarry as such... |
