I am getting a new viv for my albino cali king, its coming with a 2% UV light. is there a recomended amount of time this should be kept on for?

Snakes don't need UV so just ditch it, also saves you having to buy new ones

the UV tends to be a strip light/tube which will flicker and potentially stress your snake........ like lee said, it's best removed

i would just take it out,no need for additional lighting
