Posted - 26/07/2009 : 14:33:51 well,it seems like she cleared her self of poo but got up this morning and she had been a wee and some urates in it but no poo.the problem is that there was a blood stain at the other end of the viv that had been soaked up by the paper.I have checked her all over and theres no damage and can only think she passed it,would it hurt to wait to see if she bleeds again? She seems fine, drinking and active. |

Posted - 19/07/2009 : 20:27:31 cheers scott, she was kept in a rub before with no exercise and fed weekly so gained all that weight and now is in a 3' viv so the extra exercise might be a factor too with all the moving around. |

That would only benfit her, So I don't see why not. At that size too, shes not going to rot away. Let me know how you get on mate.

Posted - 19/07/2009 : 19:51:23 i will get a pic next time, she's been on rat weaners since i got her and that was what i was told she was on weekly but i have fed her every 10- 14 days.Temps ect are fine.Would it be worth her missing a fed or 2 to clear her system, she's a big girl(1300+ grams)so dont think it will hurt to miss some. |

Posted - 19/07/2009 : 19:37:18 Hi Lee,
Any pictures? Could of been drinking alot more then usual, Temperatures gone up at all? Humidity gone up at all? Let the Mice/Rats thaw out in Water instead of just room temperature? Could be anything really my friend. However, When I put my Milks on Newspaper there feaces does look alot more liquidy then what it would on Aspen, I think the Aspen just absorbs it a hell of a lot more. I dont think it's anything worry about, Just keep an eye on it for when shes next due to drop a load.
