just wanted to say thinaks for your help guys (yes iam aware that this my first post.)

when removeing dojo from his viv he musked on me quite a lot and then he got spooked by my brothers dog. Long story short

what happened was i was holding Dojo I passed him to my brother who’s used to holding him and my brothers girl friend pointed it out.

After doing some searching on here I found lee2308 post about his snake and iam sure it’s a Prolapse I have to keep an eye on him and hope that I haven’t hurt him.

I had a mobile that I dropped in the dogs water dish. It turned itself off. I took the battery out and dried as much as I could then left it a week. When I turned it back on it was fine

Put it in a sealed bag/box with a load of rice on a radiator - worked on my mobile anyway!

sounds expensive!
my sister in law's posh Canon camera took a dunking last year when my OH drove into a ford and was submerged a week in the airing cupboard seemed to fix it though

any small furries vet worth anything should have given you contact details of their nearest rep specialist!

Terrible vet
lee2308 Posted - 11/02/2009 : 11:37:45
Change your vet asap,if it was a prolapse it is easily sorted with a few stitches if it is caught in time, good to hear that he is ok now though.
jaunty101 Posted - 11/02/2009 : 00:40:02
he is fine now its gone back and hes fine i think hes 1 to 2 years old iam not sure how old he was when i got him.

i had a video of him eating a while back that made it round most of the local schools thanks to a friends kid.

I did phone my local vet and they said there was nothing they could do and it might be worth doing the "best thing" but what was i expecting from a butch of butchers who wanted to cut my friends dogs head open becuase they couldnt diognose an ear infection.

on a happy note the dog was fine onceshed had some antibiotics.

hi jaunty, mine has stopped musking and i hav'nt seen the bump since,it might be something that happens when musking, just keep a eye on him and as gp serentsseven said if it dont go back in then a trip to the vets asaphow about a few pics of him

ss why did you have to be difficult and have a differant name on here
Gingerpony Posted - 10/02/2009 : 22:27:47
the main thing is that it's gone back in again, if it doesn't then it's really a vet job

btw heya and welcome

How old is the snake? If its young its probably because it doesnt have much muscule control so i wouldnt worry, especially if its a 1 off.
